Description
Basic cabinets differ in equipment depending on the area of use and de robot (e.g titan)
The standard basic cabinet consists of the following  components:
Cabinet housing for max. 8 axes, for all robot types:
Rear panel with aperture for small drive modules (writs axes), large drive modules (main axes)  
and space for external axes, batteries for PC  back-up time of 2 minutes; 2 ballast resistors with temperature  switches;
Mains filter,
Main switch panel;
Collision protection (also of transportation) with plug-in connection;
Color : side panel/ door RAL 9006(white aluminum), cabinet RAL 7016 (anthracite gray) inside galvanized

Use of a heat exchanger is sufficient with an external temperature of up to 45°C, higher temperatures( up to 50°C), an additional cooling unit must be used (see under cooling unit). the minimum permissible ambient temperature for operation of the KR C2 (with/without cooling unit) is +5°C.

Ordering information / limitations

A selection must be made between "heat exchanger with small external fan" and " heat exchanger with large external fan". the heat exchanger with small external fan is  suitable for low to high payloads (KR 6 to KR 240-2 and variants).

The heat extranger with large external fan must be selected

- for  heavy-duty robots (KR 360 and larger);

- if an external axis is is used with KUKA servo drive KSD1-64 in the basic cabinet;
