The Multi Power Tap is used additionally in conjunction with E/As.
The Multi Power Tap is fixed on the inner side of the cabinet plug board (robot controller KR C2 edition2005).
The Multi Power Tap is a board with two functions:
1. Central power feed for 24V DC voltage for CAN/DeviceNet
2. Star distributor, e.g. for bus line (CAN/DeviceNet from MFC 2 to Multi Power Tap) for extended CAN connection (other applications, further subscribers)
The installation of CAN-bus line and voltage supply is part of the option.,
Advantages for the customer:
Easy connection for bus users (3x CAN-Bus, 2x 24 V DC)
Choice of cable inlet obligatory!

KUKA profinet i/o card: KUKA PROFINET CP 1616

The PC 1616 is a PCI card for connecting PCs to industrial Ethernet.

The KUKA PROFINET CP 1616 offers the following functions and features:
-Configurable and parameterizable across the network.
- Up to 256 devices can be connected to the controller circle
- Connections rated  for 10BASE-T and  100BASE-TX
- Support of data transmission speeds 10 and 100 Mbit/s  in full Duplex and Half Duplex mode.
- Operation of CP 1616 as controller and/or device
- Configuration with step 7 software from Siemens
- Use of acyclic channels
- 4 RJ45 ports for connection of terminals or other network componentes in integrated 4-port real-time switch.
- Coupling/decoupling of devices, e.g. fast tool changer.

The Wieland cable inlet is used in the connector panel of the control cabinet (robot controller).
A cable inlet is necessary if the  wiring from the robot controller PC to the connector panel is made by  the customer.

Two types of Wieland cable inlets can be selected:

Wieland cable  inlet with 3 inlets.
Wieland cable inlet including reduction plate and bulkhead-mounted housing; for 3 cables,
cable diameter: 2 x 4,5 - 10 mm + 2 x 9 - 15 mm.

Wieland cable  inlet with 4 inlets.
Wieland cable inlet including reduction plate and bulkhead-mounted housing; for 4 cables,
cable diameter: 2 x 4,5 - 10 mm + 2 x 9 - 15 mm.

Standardly, there is 1 port on the  board KUKA Ethernet / IP PCU ETHIO 2.0 for an Ethernet cable.

The option KR C2 edition2005 pluggable KCP makes it possible to copple and uncopple the KCP (KUKA Control Panel) at the control cabinets that have been equipped with this option, while operations
are running. Already delivered control cabinets cannot be upgraded on site!

The option KR C2 editon2005 pluggable KCP comprises the following components:

- The coupler board including internal wiring.

 - A sensing device integrated in the door interface of the KR C2 edition2005.

Ordering Information / Limitations
When using the option KR C2 edition2005 pluggable KCP, the following constraints for configuration of the KR C2 editon2005 must be taken into account:

- A Cabinet door with preparation for the door interface must always be ordered (see Basic cabinet).

- For the safety system, the customer interface boards CI3-Extended or CI3-Tech must be used (see Periphery Connection / Safety Logic).

- If additional equipment in the door interface is required, it is only allowed to use the option door interface for 4 x USB (see PC / door interface). A combination with other door interfaces is not permitted.

- Ordering Data for the KCP itself and additional equipment for the KCP can be found under controller / KCP.
It is not possible to combine the option ‘pluggable KCP’ with the KCP 2 Shared Pendant (RoboTeam Technology).

determines the combination of servo drive modules which can be installed in the top-mounted cabinet.
